Rita is a devoted cook who loves combining her interests in wellness and sustainability. A marketing professional, she channels her creativity through her work, which includes a role at Angels of Impact, an organisation dedicated to making the world a better place through women-focused sustainable enterprise. It is no surprise then that some of Rita’s ingredients are from the entrepreneurial efforts of women from countries like Indonesia and Thailand. By sharing her table, one could say that guests are indirectly supporting the empowerment of women in developing countries, which gives additional meaning to the term ‘superfoods’!


At this food experience, you will taste the local cuisine of Singapore in a new way. Guests can expect to see freshly home-baked bread enhanced with turmeric and curry leaves, or indulge in a healthier version of Nasi Goreng that retains all the flavours of the traditional favourite. All the food that comes from Rita’s kitchen is made from scratch and designed to create a deep, glowing wellness from within. Ingredients are approached with the utmost reverence, and guests at Rita’s table are sure to leave with a newfound gratitude for the food that gives life and health.

Rita conducts cooking classes and hosts long table dinners in an early 1970’s semi-detached house in the neighbourhood of Telok Kurau. The environment is tastefully decorated with subtle hints to Rita’s Indian heritage. Visitors will enjoy the cosy and tranquil atmosphere that speaks of an oasis and reflects Rita’s interest in wellness and spirituality.
