An easy pasta dish full of flavour and goodness made with products that contribute to a better world
Rita’s Soulful Grains pop-up experience features dishes that use products made by companies who aim to lift people, particularly women, out of poverty through industry and enterprise. By using these ingredients, eating becomes not only an act of kindness towards your own body but is also a small way to show your support for the work those women do.
1 cup Jasberry Goji Berry & Turmeric Penne (follow instructions on box for cooking);
6-8 organic cherry tomatoes (cut into halves);
1 cup baby spinach leaves;
¼ cup of nuts (choose from any: pine, almonds flakes, walnuts);
½ onion (thinly sliced);
¼ cup chopped basil as garnish;
1 tsp Javara Chia Seeds
Juice of ½ lemon;
1 clove garlic (chopped);
1 tsp Javara Mango Blossom Raw Honey;
½ tsp crushed black pepper;
½ tsp Javara Sea Salt;
2 tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- In a large salad mixing bowl, add penne, tomatoes, spinach leaves and onions.
- Add dressing and mix well.
- Garnish with chia seeds, nuts and chopped basil.
