Design Spotlight: SCENE SHANG

One trait that runs through our NOSHtrekker community is our appreciation of quality. Food that has been made with the finest ingredients and with the utmost care is worth travelling further and digging deeper into our pockets for.

We also like the fusion of new and old, modern and heritage, and are inspired by the individual and collective stories of the people who make a place. This sensibility could explain why the contemporary furniture label SCENE SHANG caught our attention. Based in Singapore, the brand was founded by Pamela Ting and Jessica Wong in 2013 and they share many of the values that we hold true.

You can browse a selection of their homeware and lifestyle products at, but for June’s Art + Food theme, we’ve picked two below that we’d love to see in our homes.
