Whether its bare-hand eating or hot food and cool jazz, our vision is to way beyond curating listings of loyal NOSH Trekkers and NOSH Hosts.

Tahnya Butterfield
TAHNYA BUTTERFIELD
Co-Founder and Chief Experience Designer

In her role as our Chief Experience Designer, Tahnya is part gourmand, explorer, sociologist, conductor and cultural connector. She curates all NOSHtrekker experiences and works closely with our hosts, affiliates and partners to ensure that NOSHtrekkers receive the best in-home dining food experience.

Tahnya is an Australian who has lived and worked in Singapore for more than a decade as a business coach and educator. Over her 25 year career in business consulting, Tahnya has spent over 10,000 hours positioning leaders and teams for success, working with companies – from banks, to luxury and retail brands, and start-ups.

When Tahnya travels, it is to meet locals; the hawkers of culture, translators of topography, trivia nuts, social anthropologists, insightful old-timers and knowledgeable newcomers. Her realisation that meeting and learning from locals is ‘why’ people travel in the first place led her to create NOSHtrekker in 2015.

On her “to eat” list, you’ll find Asam Laksa from Penang and Melaka. Her preference is for a thick gravy with lots of fresh mint, cucumber, pineapple and bean sprouts, and the smokier the mackerel, the better.

Sarah Tan
SARAH TAN
Brand Director

Sarah is a co-founder of NOSHtrekker and oversees our brand and editorial direction. A Penang-born New Zealander, she is based in Singapore and comes from a career in PR and Strategic Communications. Her list of recommended must-visit places in the world includes Gisborne and Beirut. On the food front, being born in the “The Food Paradise of Asia,” she’ll argue that Penang does the best Char Kway Teow.

Cheryl Noronha
CHERYL NORONHA
Relationship Manager

Cheryl brings her experience in event management at one of Singapore’s most iconic venues to our operations team. She oversees the many relationships we have with Hosts and Partners, and keeps things purring in the background. Cheryl is a Singaporean of Eurasian heritage, an avid cook and a published author. Her most recent book is The Eurasian Table, a cookbook looking at the history of the Eurasians in Singapore.
