In her role as our Chief Experience Designer, Tahnya is part gourmand, explorer, sociologist, conductor and cultural connector. She curates all NOSHtrekker experiences and works closely with our hosts, affiliates and partners to ensure that NOSHtrekkers receive the best in-home dining food experience.
Tahnya is an Australian who has lived and worked in Singapore for more than a decade as a business coach and educator. Over her 25 year career in business consulting, Tahnya has spent over 10,000 hours positioning leaders and teams for success, working with companies – from banks, to luxury and retail brands, and start-ups.
When Tahnya travels, it is to meet locals; the hawkers of culture, translators of topography, trivia nuts, social anthropologists, insightful old-timers and knowledgeable newcomers. Her realisation that meeting and learning from locals is ‘why’ people travel in the first place led her to create NOSHtrekker in 2015.
On her “to eat” list, you’ll find Asam Laksa from Penang and Melaka. Her preference is for a thick gravy with lots of fresh mint, cucumber, pineapple and bean sprouts, and the smokier the mackerel, the better.
