Supporting Southern Highlands Producers
As we build this business, we have met many generous people who care deeply about good food, warm hospitality and caring for the land. They have opened their homes and places of work to us, lent their time and allowed us to taste the fruits of their passion and labour.
It is with deep joy that we find ways to promote their work, and for our friends in the Southern Highlands of Australia, we are proud to announce our next event in Singapore.
From August 23 to September 1, NOSHtrekker is bringing a taste of Australia’s Southern Highlands to Singapore in partnership with The Fullerton Hotel, and with the support of Singapore Airlines, Destination New South Wales and the Australian Trade & Investment Commission.
Chef Teena Crooks, who is a Host at our Highlands Gateway experience, has designed a quintessential Southern Highlands menu that will be available at TOWN Restaurant during this festival and she will also be hosting a cooking class on Saturday, August 25.
The menu for this festival highlights some of the best regional produce from the region that has been grown and nurtured by people we know, and we will be sharing some of their stories on our Facebook page.
As you learn about Mauger’s Meats or Robertson Truffles, Joadja Distillery and Artemis Wines (their vineyard is featured in the image above), we hope that it will inspire you to come to The Fullerton Hotel to taste their work, and even take the short trip to the Southern Highlands from Canberra or Sydney and visit them with us in person.
We look forward to seeing you at The Fullerton Hotel over the festival week and would love to hear your feedback on the food. We will be posting behind the scenes content and recipes on our website and social media pages and invite you to follow us for updates.
